The Bathurst Temporary Restricted Area R960 is established in the interests of public safety due to an abnormally high number of aircraft movements expected in the vicinity of Bathurst AD and Mt Panorama. Circuit training or aerial work in either RA-Aus, HGFA or General Aviation aircraft during the Hours of 0600 - 1100 Local and 1500 - 2000 Local is not permitted without the express permission of the Aerodrome Operator on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October (and also precluded by the conditions of the Temporary Restricted Area R960)

Tuesday 3 October to Sunday 8 October 2023

Vertical limits: SFC - 5000FT AMSL
The Mount Panorama Helicopter Temporary Restricted Area R961 is established to provide a safe operating environment for helicopter operations associated with the Repco Bathurst 1000 Motor Race. This also includes sightseeing flights and shuttle flights to and from the track and nearby HLS and operating in accordance with Section 6 of this AIP SUP.

ONLY display aircraft given a permission by the Controlling Authority will be permitted to operate within R962 during activation periods.
ALL Pipers aircraft MUST be on the ground during these times
